Our Story

"We make these kits so other people can have fun with bitters without a huge investment."

I was inspired to make bitters kits when I first tried to make my own cocktail bitters at home. I didn't have much luck finding milk thistle seed and burdock root in the supermarket down the road and had to order them online in huge quantities. I knew I would never be able to use all of those ingredients before they became stale and I realized that there might be other people out there who want to experiment with making their own bitters but don't want to order a ton of weird herbs. I make these kits so other people can have fun with bitters without a huge investment.

We are always working on something new, from obscure tiki mixers to better tonic syrup. We introduced a new line of gin and vermouth kits in 2016 that let you explore some of the classic botanical spirits.

We are licensed as a business by the State of Nevada and we are licensed and inspected as a food business by Carson City. We are insured by the Food Liability Insurance Program, part of the Great American Insurance Group.

Shipping Policy

Each of our kits are made to order so it may take up to three days to make a regular kit.

International Shipping

We comply with all US and international laws regarding shipping of our products. We will not mark items as gifts or samples or state a lower value on the customs forms as this is illegal. The recipient is responsible for paying VAT or duties and they cannot be pre-paid. If you frequently buy from outside the US, we highly recommend a shipping consolidation service. Your packages are sent to a US address, then bundled and shipped to you. We cannot ship any items containing herbs or spices to Australia or New Zealand. Import laws for these countries are extremely restrictive regarding plant materials.

Refund Policy

I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations.

Contact me within 14 days of delivery.

Ship items back within 30 days of delivery.

If items arrive damaged or otherwise defective, please contact us for a replacement within 14 days of delivery.

Opened food items cannot be returned for sanitary reasons. 

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
